Another lovely day although a little humid, and we played that most enjoyable format of Texas Scramble, which often gives members who do not normally win prizes an opportunity. The course was in excellent condition so naturally the scores were good.

Nearest the pin on Hole 4 sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello was Dennis Pyman I think he makes the prize on this hole his own most weeks.

On Hole 8 Karine Sienaert was best responding to her husband who won two last week!!

On Hole 11 sponsored by CJ’s bar El Campello 96 563 2567 no-one managed to get on the green from the back of the tee until Graham Sutton spared our blushes to take the prize.

On Hole 14 Clive Dresner won with a good shot over the bunker.

 

In the Team Competition:

 

2nd place with a score of net 62.5 off 8.5 handicap were,

Jeff Murten, Keith Preston, Sally Rippingale and Noel Kelly.

 

1st place with a magnificent net 59.7 off 8.3 handicap were,

Dennis Pyman, Les Wilkinson, Manolo Garay and Doris Earp  including 5 birdies, well played.
