Our Captain Doris introduced us to a variation in today’s team game, one score to count on hole 1, two scores on hole 2, 3 scores on hole 3 and all four scores on hole 4, then back to 1 score again on hole 5. T

he last two holes to have three scores to count making the par score 92 points.

This proved to be an interesting game putting pressure on all the players from hole to hole, naturally those teams that did well enjoyed it and those teams that did not play well would have preferred another game !

 

Nearest the pin on Hole 8 sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello, was won by Eddie Rogers, daring to take the prize away from the Captain!

 

On Hole 14 sponsored by CJ’s bar El Campello 96 563 2567 Richard Davis was one of the few to get on the green from the back tee, and took the prize.

 

In 2nd place with a score of 94 points were Jim Hulican, Maureen Fanti, Peter Corbett and Pat Hickman .

 

The runaway winners with an excellent score of 98 six under par were Maurice Buol, David Davies, Peter Corbett(acting as a ghost) and Ron MacMaster.
