The Golfer Man

ANGEL'S MATCH PLAY COMPETITION : 3rd.&4th.place (PAUL COURT vs EDI ROGERS) and FINAL (STEPHEN GREY vs ANGEL CENTENERA)   

Dear Fellow-golfers,  

As I already explained it is one of my dreams to see a crowd following the players along the course and cheering and applauding (when deserved), etc. In order not to have our members come from home just to see the final, I thought of this way so that you would already be on the course.
So next Wednesday, when you finish our normal round of golf(1.30-2.00), you try to follow the finalists on their back nine holes.

The finalists will start at 11.20, and would hopefully begin the 10th hole at about 1.30-1.45.
So, once you finish your round, walk to the junction between the 10th and the 11th. hole: there you will find a couple of nice ladies in a buggy with drinks and sandwiches. T

here will also be (hopefully as I am still planning it) a couple of guys showing the score of the players. I would ask those who are using a buggy for their round, to give a lift to other players without buggy. Those who arrive too late to follow the finalists, they could walk to the green of the 17th. and wait there for them, or up to the 16th.etc.( You will get you sandwiches just as well, because the girls will follow around with their buggy)   I

 know that a Final of Stephen vs Angel is not exactly the golf final of your dreams, but I did not plan to be on the final. In fact I was more looking forward to have Roger March or Richard against Eddy or J.C. But this proves that in a match play competition, anybody can win, and give you hopes for next year.

Because you should know that I intend to sponsor this competition every year, and improve the prizes each year. I know it is not necessary but please try to behave properly in the course in all senses. Obviously, due to all this changes, the prizegiving of Wed.20th, will be done on the 27th.

The prizes for the finalists will be given on the Presentation Day, Feb.3rd.   And that is all now. Thank you very much for your support. Angel
