The weather was hot & very humid testing us poor old souls to the limit.

Today our Captain decided on an Irish Team Game, with teams of four, and two scores to count on the first six holes, three scores on the second six holes, and all four scores on the last six. Par was 108 points which was only exceeded by one team.

Nearest the pin on Hole 8, sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello, Sally Rippingale took the prize away from our handicap secretary, I hope he doesn't mind !!

On Hole 11, sponsored by CJ's Bar Campello 96 563 Dave McCoy proved the best.

On hole 14 sponsored by our Captain Dave McCoy also won.

The Captain also sponsored nearest the pin in two on the 6th, and this was won by Brian Fell confirming his fine form from last week.

There were also three 2's today one by Sally Rippingale and two by Stan Tarabula .

In the main Competition :

2nd place with a score of 107 points Roger March, Les Wilkinson, Derek Robertson, and Pat Hickman. Well played it shows what teamwork can achieve.

1st place with a magnificent score of 113 points Richard Davis, Norman Emerson, Jim Reid, and Doris Earp. An outstanding game all of you well done.

Next week we are playing our farewell competition for Brian Fell who is returning to Scotland. There will be a lunch afterwards and we hope that everyone will attend to give him a good send off.
