Another lovely day to greet our Stableford competition, and first round of our Singles Match Play.

The six winners of their first round matches were :

Roger March

Graham Sutton

Clive Dresner

Bob Crow

Angel Centenera

Richard Davis.

The remaining two matches have to be completed by the end of this month, they are between Gerard Vincenti and Dave McCoy and Helmut Trixl and Ron MacMaster.

As is becoming usual our Captain sponsored a nearest the pin this week on hole 11 and Clive Dresner won the prize.

Nearest the pin on Hole 8, sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello, also went to Clive Dresner confirming his excellent form.

On Hole 4, sponsored by CJ's Bar Campello 96 563 2576 Ron MacMaster managed to prevent Clive getting a clean sweep, and also collected a ball for his 2.

The main competition proved to be extremely close with countbacks settling the places.

In 5th place with 34 points off 16 hcp was Gerard Vincenti. A small consolation for France losing to England at Rugby!!

In 4th place also with 34 points off 26 hcp came Graham Sutton winning on the back 9.

In 3rd place with 35 points off 28 hcp was Ron MacMaster.

In 2nd place with 37 points off 10 hcp Roger March in the prizes most weeks this year.

The winner (Again!) with 37 points off 14 hcp winning on the back 9 was Richard Davis, winner for the third time this year.
