Away Shield competition Rules

1 - There will be 6 away days in this competition one of which may be included in the annual away trip.

The remaining days must be played within 1hour 45minutes drive of Bonalba and will be played on a Wednesday.

None of these days will be in July August or December. Other away days organised by the Captain will not form part of this competition.

2 - Maximum handicap for men 28 and for Ladies 32.

3 - To compete for this competition each competitor must enter a minimum of three cards.

4 - The winner will be the player with the highest stableford points accumulated from their three best cards.

Second and third will also be based on the points from three best cards.

In the event of a tie then the additional highest points card will be taken into consideration one at a time until a winning total has been reached. Should this not provide a winner then the chronological order of accumulating points will be used to decide the winner.

5 - Prizes:

Winners :

name plaque on away day shield,plus

a token for 100euros to be spent at El Corte Ingles and

a crystal trophy to take home.

Second 60 euros token as above.

Third 40 euros token as above.

Any changes to the above rules must be authorised by the Sponsor Bill Williams.
