Just about the hottest day this year with the temperature in the high 30's but this did not deter our happy band of golfers, competing in our Stableford.

We even had three guests today and Noel managed to win the bottle with a creditable 31 points.

Nearest the pin on Hole 8, sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello, went to our President Manolo Garay with a magnificent shot through the wind to about four feet. Sadly he did not get his two.

On Hole 14 sponsored by sponsored by CJ's Bar Campello 96 563 2567 one of our regular winners Richard Davis proved best although he said it was one of the few good shots he hit all day.

The only 2 today went to Roger March on the 8^th.

Our Captain sponsored two longest drives today, the first for those in excess of 18 handicap, and this was won by Les Wilkinson on the 13^th. The second for golfers under 18 handicap was won by Clive Dresner, well done to you both.

 

In 5^th place with 34 points off 23hcp Keith Preston.

In 4^th place with 34 points off 14 hcp winning on the back 9 John Coubrough.

In 3^rd place with 35 points off 17 hcp Gerard Vincente.

In 2^nd place with 36 points off 22 hcp Manuel Perez.

In 1^st place with a wonderful 39 points off 14 hcp (but for no longer) Jeff Murten, he even had the temerity to birdie stroke index 1!!!!
