2009 : League match February.

Friday 27th February and El Plantio golf course was the venue for the fourth round of matches in this years Costa Blanca News Golf League.

We were playing our closest rivals El Patio G.S. who were only 2 points behind us,but a magnificent performance from the team gave us a 5 - 0 [10 points] victory.

                                Dennis & Tony won 4 and 2
                                Bob & John won 1 up
                                Roger & Jim won 6 and 4
                                Clive & Brian won 3 and 2

In the other matches Pego beat Peer Gynt 3 - 2 and Orba beat Levante 4 - 1.

League positions - C.B.G.S 33 points, Pego 23 points, El Patio 21, Orba 20, Peer Gynt 15, Levante 8.

The final round of matches take place on 27th March at Villaitana where we are playing against Pego, who are now the only team who can equal our points total, meaning we need just ONE point from this match to retain the league title we won last season.
