MONDAY WINTER LEAGUE (2008-2009)

Since we all seemed to enjoy last Winter League so much, I would like to repeat it this year and sponsor again part of the prizes.

We will play under same rules which are as follows :

The League is to be a Stableford Competition played over the months of October to March.

The Competition is to be played once each month (possibly the second Monday of the month, to avoid Bank Holidays over Christmas and New Year).

Of the six possible competition rounds, the best FOUR scores will count towards the league position.

We will all play with our handicap in the CBGS.

In conjunction with the league matches, an ECLECTIC COMPETITION will be held, and scores from all matches played will count.

An initial entry of 3 Euros should be made at a competitors first round in the competition. In addition to this, a 2 Euro fee should be charged on each match day .

One Euro to be paid out in prize money as normal on Mondays, and one

Euro retained towards a prize or prizes at the end of the "league".

All Money collected is to be used for prizes at the end of the league. The number of prizes given to be at the discretion of the organiser and dependant upon the amount of money collected.

Players not participating in the "league", will be able to play the normal Monday friendly match, paying the normal 1 Euro towards the daily price.
