Another glorious day and the course is looking great and playing well.

We had our second successive Stableford today and once again the majority of the field had 30 or more points.

We had one guest today Malcolm Raws and he richly deserved his bottle for scoring 31 points off his hcp of 15.

Nearest the pin on Hole 8 sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello  went to Luc Sienaert one of our newer members.

On Hole 14 sponsored by CJ’s bar El Campello 96 563 2567 Luc also proved the nearest but how he beat Dennis Pyman I don’t know.

Both Dennis and Luc scored twos and Bill Williams also recorded a two on the 11^th, Dennis as the sponsor gave balls to Luc and Bill, but declined to have one himself.

On hole 3 Angel Centenera sponsored a prize for nearest the pin in two shots and Paul Court was the winner.

In the main Competition:

 

5^th place with 32 points off 12 hcp John Coubrough beating a host of others on the back nine.

4^th place with 33 points off 21 hcp Stephen Grey once again in the prizes.

 

3^rd place with 34 points off 11 hcp Richard Davis in a rich vein of form.

2^nd place with 35 points off 4 hcp Dennis Pyman consistent as ever.

 

1^st place with 37 points off 28 hcp Manolo Garay our President and a return to form after a long absence from the prizes. Well played.
