When the March wind blows we shall have snow, well not here perhaps, but there is plenty of it in Spain at present, and the wind today was cold and strong making life difficult for our monthly medal.

Whilst the majority of us had scores in the 80’s as ever some of us managed to gain respectability despite the conditions.

We even had two 2’s today from Jan Hulican on the 4^th and Clive Dresner on the 8^th each of them winning a ball courtesy of Dennis Pyman.

 

Nearest the pin on Hole 8 sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello was Clive Dresner with what must have been a great shot to two feet despite the cross wind.

On Hole 11 sponsored by CJ’s bar El Campello 96 563 2567 shame to say no one managed to get on the green into the wind so the prize will be held over for next week.

 

The prizes from 2^nd to 6^th were all decided on the back nine and Graham Sutton was the unlucky one to miss out on the prizes.

 

In 5^th place with a net 76 off 11hcp was Bob Crow.

In 4^th place also with a net 76 off 4 hcp came Dennis Pyman

In 3^rd place also with a net 76 off 28 hcp was our treasurer Neville Woodfine.

In 2^nd place also net 76 off 13 hcp Jim Hulican.

 

In 1^st place with a round he has been threatening for some time a net 72 was Brian Hines, a great score in the conditions.
