Our captain Angel’s last Wednesday in charge, and in the spirit of the Society he organised a team game, which the members enjoy very much. Today was an Irish fourball, two scores to count on the first six holes, all four on the second six and three scores on the final six. Not so easy when you realise that the second six holes contain stroke index 1, 2, and 3, crafty Angel.

 

Nearest the pin on Hole 8 sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello, went to Bill Williams, it is good to see a different name on this prize.

 

On Hole 3 sponsored by CJ’s bar El Campello 96 563 2567 nearest the pin in 2 was won by Richard Davis determined to finish the year with a prize.

 

The team competition was, as ever, very close:-

2^nd place went to Angel Centenera, Keith Preston, Sandra Woodfine and a guest Eric with a score of 105 only three over par, and pipping another team on the back nine. Eric also won a ball for scoring a two on a par three.

1^st place was won by Franco Fanti, Stephen Grey, Helmut Trixl and Doris Earp with a score of 107 only one over par, well played all of you.
