Our monthly medal proved to be a stern test today with very high winds making life difficult. The greens have also quickened up in the dry conditions and must be the fastest they have been for some time.

 

We had two 2’s today both on Hole 4 one by John Coubrough and one by Clive Dresner, both winning a ball courtesy of Dennis Pyman.

Nearest the pin on Hole 4 sponsored once again by Bonalba was James Burnet, our thanks to Bonalba for their continued support.

Nearest the pin on Hole 8, sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello, our vice Captain Doris Earp proved victorious.

On Hole 14 sponsored by CJ’s Bar Campello 96 563 2567 the winner was Clive Dresner collecting his own prize well done sir.

Our Captain sponsored the third shot nearest the pin on hole 15 and Bob Crow took the honours but failed in his birdie attempt.

 

In the main competition:

5^th place with a net 76 off 12 hcp John Coubrough picking up another point in the consistency table.

4^th place with a net 75 off 11 hcp Bob Crow warming up nicely for the final of the singles knock out.

3^rd place with a net 75 off 22 hcp Manuel Perez beating Bob on the back 9.

2^nd place with a net 72 off 26 hcp Bill Williams returning to form.

 

1^st place with a net 71 off 25 hcp Jan Hulican quickly picking up a prize after her recent return.
