Our final Medal competition of the year and many said thank goodness for that !! The cold and strong winds of the previous two days had disappeared and the sun shone so we have no excuses.

There were two 2’s today both on the 4^th, one to Terry Malone and the other to Jan Hulican, our thanks to Sponsor Dennis Pyman for the balls.

 

Nearest the pin on Hole 4 sponsored by Bonalba was won by Terry Malone, our thanks to Bonalba for their continued support.

On Hole 8  sponsored by Fiona, Gestoria of El Campello, Richard Davis came out on top, as he did on the nearest the pin in three on the 5^th sponsored by our Captain. 

 

On Hole 14 sponsored by CJ’s Bar Campello 96 563 2567 One of the few to reach the green into the stiff breeze was Brian Rippingale, nice for him to win a prize after twice playing a wrong ball on the same hole, that certainly increases ones score quite dramatically.

 

In 5^th place with a net 79 off 16 hcp was Gerard Vincenti.

In 4^th place with a net 78 off 22 hcp Les Wilkinson only the second time this year he has featured in the top five.

In 3^rd place with a net 77 off 23 hcp was our Liverpool lassie Jan Hulican.

In 2^nd place with a net 73 off 7 hcp Clive Dresner a good score today and he must have thought he had won until one of the late finishers pipped him.

In 1^st place with a net 71 off 30 hcp Doris Sherman Earp our next years Captain with a lower handicap I hope.
