Stableford was the order of the day, on which we suffered blustery conditions with the wind ever increasing to almost gale force. The testing conditions produced some fine scores but noticeably from the lower handicap players who obviously were able to adapt their game more easily than us mere mortals to the conditions.

Nearest the pin on Hole 4 sponsored by Fiona Gestoria of El Campello was Dennis Pyman who could not convert it to a two, so denied himself the pleasure of presenting himself with a ball!!

On Hole 11 sponsored by ourselves Franco Fanti won the prize.

In 5th Place off 28 Hcp was Ron Macmaster with an excellent 35 points.

In 4th Roger March with 37 points off Hcp 10, at last he has sorted out his putting.

In 3rd It’s that man again Dennis Pyman with 37 points off 3 Hcp.

In 2nd place showing a welcome return to form Edi Rogers with 39 points off Hcp 11

In 1st place with a magnificent score of 41 points off 13 handicap (but not for much longer) Franco Fanti

Our next game on January 30th is at El Plantio all to arrive by 8.30am please.
