Today we had a team game devised by our sadistic Captain, in teams of four with two scores to count on the first 6 holes then 3 on the second 6, and all four to count on the last 6.

For those clever mathematicians the par score amounts to 108 points. Surprisingly two teams managed to beat par, the rest of us having to commiserate with each other over bad luck and bad shots.

There were four 2’s today, but as Dennis was one of them it only cost him three balls.

They go to Franco Fanti (yes he had a one putt at last), Clive Dresner and our President Manolo Garay.

The nearest the pin at the 4th sponsored by Fiona Gestoria of El Campello was won by Clive Dresner who could hardly have been closer to a hole in one.

The team in second place was ably led by Stan Tarabula and Edi Rogers and assisted by Graham Sutton and Ken Robinson scoring 109 points.

In first place was the team led by Bob Crow with Angel Centenera, Keith Preston and Helmut Trixl with a great score of 110 points.
