Captain's Day Letter.

Captain’s Day I have been advised that some members have questioned why members playing in the competition cannot win prizes unless they attend the Captain’s function on the Saturday. This has been a rule of the Society for many years and is because the Captain provides all the prizes for this day, and the committee has ruled that the Captain should not reward members who cannot or are not prepared to support his evening. Dear Members of the CBGS, Just to keep everyone updated, Ron suffered a stroke this morning and was rushed to hospital where it was found a blood clot went from his heart to his brain. His right arm is paralysed but upto a few minutes ago he was able to move his fingers to the feeling is slowly returning to his arm.
