Ruling : Relief from Bonalba Cart Paths

Relief from Bonalba Cart Paths If a ball comes to rest on a cart path, relief can only be taken without penalty if the path is covered in asphalt. If the path is only of bare earth and no asphalt then the ball must be played as it lies, or one can take a drop under penalty of one stroke. This also applies if the player is standing on a path to play his shot. Relief without penalty can only be taken if the path is covered in asphalt.

Yesterday competition MEDAL PLAY. On the green 13 : Player A has his ball under the hole and after the hole, on the right side a player B has his ball. Few months ago,my team was on the hole 2 Bonalba and others players behind us want to jump. We let to pass and when we continue to play, a player in my team discovered that her ball was playing by a player is gone. I said “ you can put a another ball to continue” but one player refuse and she said to the partner “you have to play your ball”.
